Line Auditions Dance Auditions: ~ Wednesday, May 22nd ~ 1st Solo Auditions for the 2013 - 2014 Dance Year for "The Dance Expressions" Kidds Inc, PreLine, Jr. Line and Sr. Line. ~ Thursday, May 23rd ~ 1st Group Auditions for the 2013 - 2014 Dance Year for "The Dance Expressions" Kidds Inc, PreLine, Jr. Line and Sr. Line. ** Kidds Inc. Is a "non-auditioning" group of dancers, grades 1 - 4. Check the website for a description of this group and it's requirements. ~ Dancers interested in information for Kidds Inc., contact the studio. ~ Dancers interested in being a part of Kidds Inc., will need to attend the auditions and participate in the classes. They will not have to audition, but must attend the classes. ~ Dancers wanting to be a part of Kidds Inc., can join up until the 2nd set of auditions in August. ** PreLine, Jr. Line and Sr. Line are auditioning groups of dancers grades 5 through 12. Dancers that audition in May are eligible to participate in summer fund raisers to help raise funds to defray expenses during the dance year. 2nd auditions will be held in August. ~ Auditions will consist of: Dancers choreographing a :30 routine of their choice (tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, etc) and will learn a short combination in tap, jazz and lyrical that they will be required to audition with as well. ~ Auditions will take place from 5:00 - 9:00. Dancers will need to be there at 5:00, stretch and be ready to dance at 5:30. They can be picked up at 9:00. ~ Dancers auditioning in May will need to partake in summer classes offered at EDE this summer or other master classes/workshops/dance camps.
